Since we will be working closely together, there are some important points to understand:

  • There is no one size fits all approach. The interventions that will truly help you take into account your individuality, and ours will be customized to your needs. This is where most programs fall short. They are standard protocols that do not take you into account and this is why you don't get the results you long for.
  • We will have some trial and error as we work to determine your specific needs, so a little patience goes a long way. It's likely taken time for your health problems to get to this point. They won't resolve overnight, but they can and will improve over time. My clients typically start to see results within a few months.
  • Commitment to and compliance with the process are important, and are necessary to achieve our desired results. Without commitment and compliance, our interventions will not work. Know that we are a team. I will be there every step of the way to guide you through it.
  • I honor, appreciate and respect your sharing intimate details about yourself with me in order to help you reach your goals. I take this responsibility seriously.
  • I am someone who will challenge the way you’ve looked at your health in the past, and together, we can get to the bottom of your health problems. 

As we work together, we’ll discuss:

  • What’s worked for you and what hasn't.
  • Identify missed opportunities that hold important clues as to the root cause of your problems.
  • Get a clear picture of what's important to you, your lifestyle, and your goals so that the path ahead is in line with these factors.
  • What an effective action plan may look like based on your health history, and other important pieces of the puzzle.

What else you should know:

  • This may be more about biochemistry than food. That's because we aren't just what we eat. We are what our bodies can do with what we eat. Rather than just making sure you are eating right, we need to make sure your body can digest, absorb and use nutrients from the foods you eat. Your diet may be stellar, but if your body can't use those nutrients, your perfect diet doesn't matter much, and won't help you feel better. 
  • We will review your conventional labs, ask your physician for additional ones as needed so that we can get as complete a picture as possible of your biochemistry, and use these labs as best we can to guide our path to improving your health. Conventional labs only show us if we are in range compared to the average, and the average can be far from healthy. Conventional labs do not give us a picture of what's optimum. This is why your labs may look normal, but you still don't feel well and have symptoms. It is because of this that I will recommend functional testing. Functional testing allows us to identify opportunities that will help you feel better, and it is usually an out of pocket expense , not included in my services. Reading, interpreting, and using the functional lab results to customize a plan for you is part of what I do, and that is included in my pricing. 
  • Nutrient supplementation can be a key factor for improving overall metabolic function, and therefore it can positively impact the issues you are experiencing. Often, due to long standing deficiency and imbalances, the addition of supplemental nutrients can help restore metabolic processes to their optimal state, and I will recommend ones specific for your needs. Supplements are not included in my pricing, and are an out of pocket expense. 

There are some important points to consider:

  • I have you fill out an intake questionnaire, and that questionnaire is below. It allows me to come to our session(s) with enough information for us to continue crafting your customized action plan. Please fill out this form at least 48 hours prior to our scheduled session (not including weekends). If I do not receive the information within this timeframe, we will need to reschedule our session.
  • I do not take insurance. I have a variety of sessions and packages that will be tailored to your specific needs, so together we can determine the best way to move forward with your unique case.
  • Sessions can be virtual, and we can talk via phone or use a video option such as Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom Meeting per your preference.
