Perfect [Thanksgiving] Cranberry Sauce

I love cranberry sauce.

Anyone else?

Here’s how I make it…

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries

  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup

  • 1 tsp orange zest

  • 1/2 an orange, peeled and juiced

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 shakes or so of ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan on medium/high heat

  • Once it heats up, the cranberries will start to pop, and the mixture will thicken up

  • As it starts to thicken, lower the heat

  • Stir periodically throughout

  • When it’s a consistency you like, it’s done

  • Cool and serve

  • Will stay in the fridge for several days
